Item: The Jackrabbit whirligig is coming to life and the major components are ready for assembly and some articulation to work out his jump. The lift lever and pivot are done and the orbit to provide motion is next on the windmill. Than the art department will complete the Jackrabbit and with some call letters on the bottom vane it is ready for final test.
Next door neighbor Professor E.B. Holloway departed this world on March 26, 2011 and with him went his archive of over 11000 books he had in his house and garage. The removal task was reduced to some boxes going wholesale to the curb where this one was rescued out of. It and another are military annuals of 1930 and 1936. Here is one 175 years old with a tale to tell about the "Immigrant Indians" who were not at all that but were being moved onto reservations in the new territories. This is the Kansas/Nebraska plan. On today's map the few remains of these reservations would fit under your thumb.
