Manspace Projects - Pee Wee Mable Chaser & Progress

Item: This idea came from the Lucama, NC Spring Fling Festival when a visitor to the booth asked about a smaller marble chaser with rounded corners. Why not. There are mini-dropper type chasers.
Let's give it a go in the Manspace. So Moon Marble in KS had some 11mm "Pee Wee" marbles that were delightful and than came the slow realization that these are slow because there is not a lot of weight to them. They don't get a lot of momentum at the 5 degree incline like the larger marble roller. With a bit of smoothing on the corners and rails they will roll nicely. When the lacquer finish is added they will fly. (Pee Wee # 2 will be more like 8 degrees incline). Look for this at Manspace FolkArt and Whimsy Two and maybe at the Brier Creek - Raleigh 4th. of July Festival.
Here is where progress got to on the weekend in a Licorice base color.

Progress was delayed by a side project to add a bike rack base board on the old work horse Schwinn to fit the fotprint of the bike bag left from my Moulton bike that was sold online.
And things at 806 Broad may have gone to the dogs but the outlook is hopeful.
